Hi all,

I\\'m curious if anyone has had a similar experience; I have a well maintained 2007 TC which briefly showed a battery light before shutting down completely forcing me to coast off the road. I opened the hood and noticed a strong electrical odor but no apparent damage to wires or components. I measured the battery voltage (at the battery) which only showed 0.29 volts which is the lowest I have ever seen. The car remains completely dead and I would like to get some help trouble shooting this problem. Thanks in advance to all...

Have you checked for a gound short...?

A major ground short could cause many electrical issues...especially caused over time (2007)...

If the vehicle has any cables touching the fram-rail(s)...or a junction box...check these areas.
Do you have a detailed wire diagram for the vehicle...?

Hope that's of some help.
