Can anyone tell me if I can put 15 inch wheels on my Crown Vic. The factory size is 16inch, so you would think I can as long as i get the tire around the same diameter. 2 different rim shops here in town are telling me 2 different answers. I want keystone klassics but they don't make them bigger than 15in. anyone help me out?? |

Go to www.crownvic.net..There is a write-up about tire and wheel sizes
I can tell you that going to a smaller diameter wheel will force you to go to a larger sidewall aspect tire (i.e., from a 215/70r16 to 225/80r15) which will look like skinny tires. That's bad for traction, particularly in the rain.
