Dude that sucks! Yeah I had something similar my upper ball-joint was almost sheared completely off. Apparently this is a recall and my dealer fixed it at no cost the changed both sides even though only one was bad.

Normal to split them if you over tighten the nut. Learn to keep the old ones that aren't split.

With all the work you have done already....the Tie Rod Ends should be
a pretty easy DIY project....

However...as mentioned...let the dealer do it ....if possible....
It maybe a hassle w/time scheduling and "open" hours to
get the job done....could be a 4 to 6 hours time span @the dealer
service center....

Can't hurt to give them a call...try to pin'em down on how long it
will take....to reduce your time @the dealer...

you guys know if rockauto is reliable? they have some ends and adjustment sleeves and bushings for like 15 a piece....idk if this is a normal price but it just too cheap for comfort. im gonna look around some more. maybe ill get some idler arms and a sway bar also

i have my police car mechanic up here who will most likely do it for next to nothing if i get the car there and have the parts,i think i could do it myself though with a little research....

i shall keep you posted

RockAuto is like most suppliers....they have a selection
(usually more than others) to choose....

Sometimes they have discontinued brand/models....
check their info. (question ? or image description) for
more details....or try to contact them via "contact" listing...

If you see a brand name you know has some sort of
warranty...probably take that selection....
