Sounds like a warped head or leaking head gasket...even thru the water pump...
W/normal anti-freeze mixture w/motor oil....something is leading into areas not
designed.....
Pretty major tear down and replacement of parts....
Check your asset value in this vehicle...vs other options...

Forget the intake for now. You need to solve the oil/water mix problem FIRST.
Possibilities are blown head gasket (most likely), cracked head, cracked water pump, or cracked intake manifold that is sucking water into fuel mixture. Does the engine misfire any? I would NOT be running it too much at this point. Water and oil mix will tear up a set of bearings.
Being you have oil in the antifreeze AND the underside of your oil cap is milky, that's definitely oil/water mix. Now you need to find out what causes it.
The "oil spraying" from the exhaust can easily be water moisture mixing with internal corrosion in the muffler.
Go check out www.crownvic.net for more crown vic info. The sponsors have a variety of products for the CV, so go check it out.
But right now you need to solve the mix problem and fix it.

Hard to say on the motor without more information.
On the water out of the exhaust it is normal to see some condensation coming out while running the first thing after sitting. It would be worse if you are mixing the oil and coolant as well.
First things first identify the source of your oil and water mix just like jdmeaux and wizzard1222 said this is the most pressing issue and will tell you if you need a whole motor or something smaller. One thing that can help to narrow it down is to pull your plugs and look for fouling that may indicate misfiring on that cylinder helping you narrow it down. Other than that hit up crownvic.net tons of great info and help. |
