I have a 2011 CV LX which has automatic climate control. The blend door stopped working, so I took it to the dealer for repair. (still under warranty) I just got it back, and something is off with the fan speed now. It doesn't seem to blow as hard when on high, almost like medium is the highest it will go, especially when you switch to VENT or DEFROST. Is this possible? Or am I crazy? |

If it wasn't doing that BEFORE you brought it to the dealer, BRING IT BACK and complain that it is not working the way it was before. Tell them THEY broke it and need to fix it. If they try to charge you, complain to the District Rep and to Ford Corporation.
A defective blend door switch/relay should not affect the blower speed. If the dealer can show you that the blower speed relay, located inside the engine compartment is bad, then the problem was in addition to your blender door. But the only way to find out if it is the fan blower relay is to replace it.

Thanks for the info! I just thought it was strange, because I'm sure you know when on High, it's like a wind tunnel in the cabin, but now not so much. |
