I Have a 1989 F-150 4x4 with the 302. I have a 4 speed manual with a creeper gear. And was wondering what is the Best lift kit to get and how hard is it to put on by myself? Looking to go 3 to 5 inches.

Go with Rancho. They have a great 4" kit. If you have the basic air tools, large sockets, jack stands and hydrolic floor jack you should be able to do it yourself. It will be difficult simply because your truck is a bit older and many parts will be tough to loosen up.
