My 484ci 66 Fairlane GT with 17 inch Cragar SS Wheels and Baer disc brakes. The 40 series tires are a little too ricer-ish for my taste. Next time I plan on getting 50 series.

Most recent picture, taken near Lake Pleasant on May 5, 2007. Baer recommended 17 inch wheels to clear the calipers of the 13 inch rotors. So I decided on Cragar SS wheels in an attempt to retain the old school look.

The old 14 inch wheels before the install. Nice, but they won't work with the big 13 inch Baer rotor and caliper. Bear recommends at least a 17 inch wheel for the 13 inch rotors.

17x7 Cragar S/S on the front with 4 inch backspace and 225/40 Nitto tires. No clearance problems with the fender or the subframe. I like the classic old school look of these wheels. Especially on a muscle car.

The new master cylinder. It puts the brake lines a bit close to the valve covers, because the ports are on right side, but it works just fine. New brake lines had to be plummed in. The pedal feel is great, not stiff, not soggy, it's just right. I...

Now you see what the crate looks like, which David Kee uses. Before I took this picture, I had already taken out all the bolts which go around the outer lip to secure the top and bottom of the crate together.

You can see how the toploader is secured inside the crate. Those two black collars are removable. On the front collar there are two big bolts going through it and the tranny. The collars are bolted to the crate.
