Engine: |
The usual 4.6 with NPI heads. I added a chrome breather, small trans cooler, and a K/N filter with modified airbox. |
Drivetrain: |
I have the standard 4 speed wide grear ratio tranny. I changed the exhaust to a custom 2.25 H pipe with only cherry bombs for mufflers. |
Notes: |
I bought the car with 68000 miles on it and other than blowing the intake its running better than when I bought. I had my grill blacked out with gloss black. Added super white bright head lamps. Added black tint as AZ is hot as hell. Put on 17" X 8 rims with Yokohama YK420 225/55 tires. I added a color matching velour dash cover, as this protect the dash and the same time stops the blinding glare. I put in a nice cd player, a poineer 50X4 with remote and Infinity referance 5X7s all around. I later threw in a bargain buy 2 12" Kicker comp VR subs and in a custom fit box amped to an Alpine 4 channel once used for the door speakers. Also the car came with a Lock-Tronics anti theaft eletronic starter key and those vent-shades came with it too. |

Nice behind isn't it? I have the idea of adding a custom fit Impala SS spoiler, anyone ever see that before? Theres no other wing in my mind that fits as well as that.

Since this pic, I power washed and spray waxed, everything to a shine. Most people say it looks brand new, but Id say it turned out to look like it been babied but used.

Notice the bumper inst perfectly aligned. I hit a HUGE carpet roll in the office lot of my old apt. at 3 mph. So if anyone knows a good referance for removing the bummper cover email me. And those head lamps have got to go too they are not pretty.
