Maintenance & Modification Logs
Date | Type | Mileage | Title / Description | $ Amount |
03/11/06 | Miscellaneous | 146800 | none Just figured out today that I have a 6" lift, not a 4" lift. The front is 5.5" higher than a stock one. The rear has a 3" block and an add-a-leaf. I guess that's why it is towering over the 35"s--I could fit 38"s easily right now. | 0.00 |
03/06/06 | Repair | 146600 | Fix head Exhaust manifold had been installed improperly at some point. They broke the bolt off in the head and then drilled it out way to big, which caused it to break. I took the head off and had it repaired. The block looked brand new on the inside, with nice crosshatching in the cylinders and no scruffs. The heads were in good shape as well. Gasket kit-$120, head machining-$100, new plugs/cap/rotor (Jacobs)-$50, new EGR tube with fitting-$130, oil change and fresh coolant-$60 | 0.00 |
01/20/06 | Modification | 145700 | New Exhaust Installed a 50 Series Flowmaster with 3" pipe out the back. Exhaust previously exited in front of the rear wheel (lame). It was so close to the tire that I would not be able to switch to 37" tires. | 0.00 |
01/15/06 | Maintenance | 145600 | Synthetics Changed out all the gear oils with Torco 100% Synthetic Gear Lube. | 0.00 |
12/15/05 | Modification | 145000 | Lund Moonvisor I have had a visor for this body style laying around for 3 years with nothing to put it on. This trucks roof clearly already had a visor on it at some point (the holes were there). I spent $20 on paint and bolted it on. | 0.00 |
08/30/05 | Repair | 144000 | Interior Desided to start with the interior. It has torn front captains, old looking wood, lots of squeeks, broken dash, fabric falling off door panels, and a lame stereo.
Replaced door panel fabric with some black leather. Put on some dark blue seat covers to get me by. Spent a lot of time scrubbing stains out of the carpet. Fixed the dash. Refinished all the wood trim with a dark red stain and about 10 coats of laquer. Got a redwood Grant steering wheel to match. Bought a descent JVC CD player and wired up some subs I had laying around. Replaced all the factory speakers with some new 6x8's. | 0.00 |
