MAY 2001---Rebuilt 351M -2bbl 2150 carb- with all new stock parts.--Every component replaced.
Dizzy -Module -Carb -Manifolds -fuel pump-alternator-starter- vinylcoated oil pan.
The Original 351M finally blew a bearing in April 2001- 23 yrs later |

Rebuilt C6 tranny- stock driveshafts-9 inch -Original FRONT Dana 44

Been in the family since it rolled off the lot in 1978. WAS ONE OF THE FIRST PREORDERED IN ONTARIO CANADA.-back then.
Was purchased BRAND NEW by brother in law-
sold to my Father in law THEN-given to my wife and then to me.
Truck was a workhorse and family shared right across the board
-truck was also the vacation vehicle that had traveled back and forth from Toronto Canada to Florida USA several times.
It has been a pleasure to retire her to her resting place----with me!!!!LOL
**THE TRUCK WAS AN EVERYDAY DAILY DRIVER UP UNTIL 2003-WHEN I DECIDED THAT AFTER ALL THE WORK I PUT INTO THE TRUCK-MECHANICAL AND BODYWORK- IT WAS LOOKING PRETTY GOOD TO USE AS A DAILY DRIVER AND CHOSE TO GO THE CLASSIC CAR AND INSURANCE ROUTE.-MAKING HER MY SUNDAY DRIVER NOW.SHE IS STORED EVERY CANADIAN WINTER NOW AND ONLY COMES OUT ON DRY SUNNY DAYS!!!!-
AFTER REMOVING ALL THAT RUST -WHY WOULD I WANT TO GO AND GET HER RUSTY AGAIN!!? |
