The old gas tank cleaned out and repaired at Doug's rad shop in chandler. I put a gas tank rubber coating on it and put it back in the ranchero. I purchased the new sender from www.gastanks.com.

Well its been awhile since i worked on my Ranchero. I put on the fuel pump and reman distributor and it still wont start.. I think the gas in my oil has *ucked up my engine and i cant keep compression. I found some papers from a rebuild in the 90's and the comments read "even after rebuild the engine ran rough." Im gonna have the engine rebuilt in Tucson and im saving up for all the bells and whistles. I love my Ranchero and i think im gonna go give it a bathright now. jk

Well i got 2 rims off a ranchero i sold to a friend for body parts (he has a 65 with 289) well he still had the original rims for me so i took them to sams club and one of the tire guys removed the ole tires for me. ill take them and have them powder coated and ready for new tires.

I have found and will be getting a Offenhauser 3 single barrel carb set up for my Ranchero. im not sure it will give me alot of horse power or nuthin, it will look wicked and most importantly it will be a challenge to get it workin. but thats a couple months down the road.
