5.7 throttle body......XE258/266 comp cam....dual 2 1/2" cat free exhaust.....ram air conversion{made myself}.....ported 2.02 /1.6 vortec heads...exhaust heat crossover blocked....adjustable fuel pressure regulater{gave it 3 psi more pressure..a must for blocked heat crossover/EGR removed} raised injectors about a quarter inch.... cranking compression reads between 195 and 205!!... .runs on 93 octane, but can use the cheap stuff, i regularly use 93 with an octane booster to keep my exhaust valves from burning..heads were $ 650....future mods will be 454 throttle body from a junk yard or buy a holley 670 cfm throttle body unit.. maybe?... this car really moves..i beat an LT1 caprice off the line... any suggestions? |

700R4...shift kit, future plans would include higher gears... this car smokes the tires on any pavement like nothing. great ride and looks are cool too. |

paid $ 1,100 at a car auction! it had 29,000 miles!! it was pushed in because the tranny was shot. 1/4 mile time is 94mph! i think that's real fast for this size of car! never did 0 to 60 yet. i think it should be like 6 .5 seconds or something like that, well thanks for the interest!! buy the way, top speed was clocked at 146mph!!! |
