Nickname: My Vic
Mileage: 158314
Engine: Stock 302 CID V8 for now, no mods yet.
Drivetrain: 4-speed Ford AOD (Automatic Overdrive) transmission. Has overdrive lockout option by shifting between "OD" and "D". Needs timing work. ;)
Notes: Ah, my Vic. She's my baby. I LOVE her!

During Hurricanes Frances and Jeanne, I didn't go out anywhere, so the battery died. I fixed that though.

During Hurricane Wilma, the vinyl roof got completely shreaded. Since then we had a really bad thunderstorm (with hail and everything) that took off some of what Wilma left behind. I sometimes chuckle when I take her out somewhere, especially over 45 MPH, and I hear the flapping of the vinyl against the roof of the car. I'll get pix of the vinyl at some point in time, but not now.

The rear speakers don't sound that good anymore so I'm considering replacing them with newer ones (they ARE factory, after all).

There's her dash. Yes, the brake light is on. The emergency brake was engaged.

The very first true video I ever took with the digital camera. This video's main purpose is to show that she has an itty bitty tiny little microscopic coolant leak.

The other video is just for show.

Wheeeeeeeeeee - the second real movie I ever took with the digital camera - the sound's not perfect, the wind was blowing quite loudly at the end, and there's a clanking noise of unknown origin, but it's cool anyways! At the bottom of the picture is...

You've already seen this if you went into the Exterior section, but I included it here because it qualifies as Under the Hood too - a fairly dark but still comprehensible picture of all the 5.0L goodness that is my Vic. ;)

Much to my surprise, my grocery store (Publix) sells ATF. I bought a quart (of course, twenty cents less than AutoZone). I put this quart of Citgo Dexron III/Mercon, and filled her perfectly.

Yay! Once again, I can say I have my Vic back!

Though I did discover I have a slight tiny little itty bitty leak of coolant out of the radiator.

Tranny fluid extremely low - the stick even said "DO NOT DRIVE", so I did not drive from 6/28-7/12.

Finally got the courage up to do my first foray into transmissions and put fluid in. Put in whole quart of Castrol ATF Dexron III/Mercon. To my surprise this only filled her half way of what she needed. Will buy another quart.
