the bolts for this bracket are nice and flush.

I used 2 1/2" carriage bolts. the yakima stock bolts were too small.

The drill bit didn't tear up the headliner like I thought it would. Just a small puka.

this is the drill bit I used. It's self-piloting. Only gave me a problem on the passenger rear bracket for some reason. Seemed like I was drilling right on the edge of the internal metal plate.
