From the engine compartment push on the two pipes that come through in order to push the heater core out of its box. Pull from the inside as well. With the heater core out this is what you will see.

Now pop the hood and go the passenger side of the engine compartment. Place a drain pan under these hoses to catch the coolant. You will see two hoses going into the fire wall, unclamp them from the heater core. You will need to wriggle them loose...

Now you will be looking at the heater core itself.

Once that is off take off the cover to the heater box. There are 6-8 8mm screws and some wires anchored to it. There is also a cable on the top that will need to be removed. This is the black cover.

Now unbolt and unplug this to get to the heater box.

Now just lift the box up and it is out. Put it off to the side.

You will see one of these on each side, just pull them in and the box will drop leaving one little thing.

You will need to start in the glovebox. No tools needed for the removal of it. But you will need a 7mm and 8mm socket, pliers, a drain pan, screwdriver (Flathead), and some good music.
