assy in the front is stock 2005, rear assy has seen 2 sets of muff's that didn't make it. this pair has loose rattling baffles in both, boy glad I got a deal on those !@#%&'s

pilot holes, then drill progressively larger holes until all the offending material is gone

got lucky & 1 of the bolts came out stuck in the other flange. looks like the original bolts had a shank that centers up in this flange and only catches like 2 threads

then cut the stumps that were in the H pipe

first trick is to remove what's left of the bolts after 10 Chicago winters. no wrench would fit on any of them and visegrips wouldn't hold on either. first step was to cut the heads & extra threads off flush & remove the H pipe
