The engine is a stroked 427 now displacing 455 CID with a 4.264 bore X 3.984" stroke. It uses a set of C8WE 6090-A Cobra Jet heads that have 2.15" intake valves and 1.70" exhaust valves. The intake is a factory Ford 427 Medium Riser 8V unit from a 1967 Fairlane. It has a pair of factory Ford 600 CFM carbs C3AF-BJ and C3AF-BK. Headers are FPA tri - Y with 1 3/4" primary size. Ignition is a factory distributor converted to Pertronics electronic and a MSD 6AL control capacitive discharge unit hidden under the dash. The camshaft is a Comp Cams 294S solid lifter unit. Rocker arms and shafts are Harland Sharp mounted with Precision Oil Pumps rocker stands and end supports.
Drivetrain:
A wide ratio toploader and 3.50:1 traction Lok rear.
