Place the rail in a vice and using a grinder slowly and evenly remove the extra material

Place a 1/4-20 bolt through the shift rail and tap it out with a hammer.

Move rail to center position and knock the roll pin out. It will fall through and out the bottom access panel with the freeze plug.
