Not having to do with the engine, I have installed some 2003 17 inch mustang Gt 5 spoke wheels with 225/55/17 michellin tires. The gray rims match my paint. looks sweet, will upload pics later on. I also installed 1.25" wheel spacers on all 4 wheels. The spacers are for mustangs, but fit my car pretty well, I had to cut off a little bit off the studs to make the stud flush with the wheel spacer. After I got the rims on I noticed that the offset wasn't right. The car seemed fine from the side, but if you got close enough you would notice how the wheels were all the way in there as if the body was put on a small frame. The spacer took care of that, now the wheels are flush with the body. It gives it a meaner look. I have seen towncars and Crown Vics with wheels, but the wheels just don't seem right being all the way in, they need to come out some more. |

Bought from a dealership which buys from state surplus. Already put more than 10k in first 3 months. Love my car, can't beat the ride quality even though it is a little stiff due to police suspension. Love people getting out of my way in the interstate but hate people slowing down when I'm behind them.
It feels good when you have police men wave at you when you drive by.
A story: Once I was racing this mustang Gt, going about 70 mph before going u a bridge. I guess the other guy had a police radar, because I just saw him fade back, the cop had his radar on. Too late to slow down when I saw him, I didn't get in trouble though, when he saw me, he just waved. It has also saved me from getting speeding tickets in other situations.
Once, the police had a road closed off because of some crime which was committed. Well everyone was forced to turn back and take a detour. I was about to turn around when all of a sudden, the policeman in charge signaled me to go through, thinking I was a cop, sweet VIP treatment. |
