Our first excursion. This is one of our 4 vehicles. We bought it as to be a dog hauler and weekend trip vehicle. We have a 5 month old Mastiff that is nearing 90 lbs now and we're getting another in 3 months. They will weigh about 180-200 pounds ...

I had purchased 2 new PATS keys and 2 new fobs from www.transponderisland.com. Today I brought them to the Ford dealership to cut and program both keys and Fobs. I was only given 1 key and fob when I bought the X so there was no programming the next one on my own. Also had them retrieve my keyless entry code.
Cost:
-2ea PATS keys = $25
-2ea 3 button remotes = $33.98
-shipping = $9.50
-Cut and program both keys and both remotes= $110

While driving through an intersection, the X engine turned off. I completed my stop, place it in park and I restarted it with no problem. I called the dealership that I bought it from and they set up for me to take it to local Ford dealership.
These are the findings:
-Continuous memory codes for 0340 and 0344 for Camshaft position sensor.
-Retreived memory code for P1668 for IDM PCM communication.
Remedies:
-Performed Recall #07S57, replaced camshaft position sensor.
-Replaced Injector Driver Module due to lack of communication to PCM.
While my X was at the dealership over the weekend, both batteries went dead.
Remedy:
-Replaced both batteries.

-Safety inspection and report
-Diagnose door locks and check engine light
-Replace all 5 door lock actuators
-Replace wiring harness and all 8 glow plugs
-Replace both Valve cover gaskets
-Lube, Oil, and Filter
-Replaced front brake pads
-Repair Stripped alternator bolt
-Removed aftermarket alarm system
