Purchased for $355 on eBay 9/3/08. It took me twelve years to find a suitable running 4-door Torino that wouldn't require a cross-country trip to pick up. |

changed out the CVPI center caps for those from an Explorer Sport Trac...they're shallower so I had to double up on lug nuts up front until I find the right size spacer and get some fresh lug nuts that aren't stripped out so bad. The main lug nuts a...

The glovebox door is damaged, rivets came out, latch still works but it won't hold it in. I took the door off and will be looking for another that doesn't have stripped holes for the hinges. No owner's manual, I'll use my '75 one for now.

Everything under the hood SEEMS to be in place, except for the lack of an air filter element. The battery is a year old. Everything else appears original except the distributor and radiator caps, plug wires, belts, and oil filter.

I didn't have an opportunity to clean this label up further at this time but I will recondition it later and take a clearer pic to post on here. 351/400M family, 351cid. I have never seen a 351M in a Torino before, always Windsors, or a 400M. New ...

This photo may be impossible to see because of the glare and all, but I suck at taking pictures through glass.

This is the mighty 351M engine. Smog motor. Lots of potential if you're patient (and rich) but all I want is a clean running engine, a little power, a lot of smoothness. Timing and carburetion adjustments to come.
