Went out to the desert with some friends past Kuna out Swan Falls road. First hill, shifted to 4 wheel drive low, hit the gas, and heard a clunk. The U-Joint harness near the transfer case had lost a bolt, and the U-joint threw both the bearing caps on that end. Removed the driveshaft, and went the rest of the evening in 2 wheel drive. Went back to Jacobs house, his dad took a look at it, then we went to Autozone, bought a replacement U-joint and a spare, and went back. Replaced the U-joint, and bolted it back up using 2 new harnesses to replace the upper two which had bent. | 21.20 | | 01/17/09 | Repair | | Fixed radiator hose leak
Was driving down the road and saw smoke behind me. Pulled over, and found a hose leaking radiator coolant onto the engine. Waited for it to cool, then topped off the coolant and drove to Kimble's for a replacement. Had him replace the hose and pressure test the system. | 63.10 | | Total | 95.95 |
