Owner: Roostertail         (All of this user's registries on SuperMotors)
From: DallasRoanoke, VA, U.S.A.        (Other registries in VA)
Year, Make, & Model: 1991 Chevrolet Suburban        (Other Chevrolet Suburbans)
Nickname:
Mileage: 220
Engine: stock TBI 350 with 220k trouble-free miles. 3" single exhaust w/Flowmaster BigBlock 50
Drivetrain: GMPP replacement 700R4 (55k mi), stock NP241c transfer case, stock 10-bolts f/r. Offroad Design sway bar discos, 2" rear lift blocks, Superlift shocks. 32" Baja A/T's.
Notes: Bought it in exceptional condition 5 years ago with 151k on the ticker. Now the stock drivetrain/suspension all "need" a little "help". I plan to build it into my tow rig/occasional wheeler. I have stock-piled parts for the build that include :

- Offroad Design parts : greaseable front shackles and main eye bushings,FUSH kit, a pair of zero rate add-a-leaves, 4" rear shackle flip, 4.5 rear super shackles, steering box plate and bolt-on brace, 1" body lift kit and poly body mount kit

- 8-lug Dana44/ Corp 14BFF axles w/ 4.10's out of a '76 K20
- JB Conversions SYE kit for the NP241c transfer case

Basically, I'm aiming for Tuff Country 6" front/2.5" rear 56" springs , an overhaul/re-gear of the axles (to 4.8, a limited slip up front and an ARB out back sitting on 35" swamper radials...to start.

- The stock 350 will be replaced with an Edelbrock MPFI'd Vortec 383 roller motor.

- I'll probably order up a Bowtie Overdrive Stage II 700R4 tranny
- the NP241c will get the SYE as well as the big chain/6-pinion planetary from a Dodge DHD 241 case and a big fat skip-plate

Of course, big stout bumpers/rock sliders go without saying........
