Latest News 9-4-2009:
I love my CVP and it is ready to do construction "Flagman" details here in MASS. The local PD unions don't like that and did everything they could to ban civilian construction details etc. from ever happening. I now only advertise to perform secure escorts and traffic control to private functions and events. But guess what? I got pulled over by a rookie detective here at (1654) last week. Driving home I heard my name on the scanner and an officer in pursuit of a: "Blk. Continental with Police Lights"! Just pulled over and waited for him with my wallet in hand. Guy just about ran into my trunk as he passed 3 cars to get me. I told the gung-ho kid-cop that this is not a Conti, It's a Crown Vic like you wish you had. Had me put all traffic advisability pkg. lights on and checked tint was less than 35%. I was fine with that until the joker asked if I had guns in the vehicle about 3 times and a siren. Embarrassing to say the least. I spent so much time making this vehicle look "not like a police vehicle", removing spotlight etc. Happens again I meet with the chief with a civil complaint!
Update 2-10-10
It's been a tough winter here in N.E. this year. Thought I could get away with running my "17" Fuel" wheels spraying off road chemicals as needed. But I can't keep up! Painted the original steel wheels and mounted them with new Firestone "Fire Hawks" high spd. pursuit rated rubbers. Last few months driving towards Boston for the night shift, I have been challenged more than a few times a rat race in traffic. But surprise, surprise... I blew the doors off two Mustang GT's effortlessly. Always nice to see those dim lights in clouds of dust in my rear view! |
