Engine: I pulled the NOT FINISHED hot 1987 302 HO/ AOD back out of the 79 stang because I went on different plan instead, of slowly making the yellow stang road worth cruzing machine and because the 79 body is in great shape and my 1994 stang had a little rust in the back half of the under side gas tank area(the 1994 body was suppose to be the 1986 drag replacement). I’m also getting lazy in my old age. so I didn’t want to play on the 1994 rust , so the 79 got the 86 drag car drive train.
yesterday, I lower the 79 off the tall 10 ton jack stands and onto some car ramps because I want it to settle before I tighten the bolts/nuts on the front and rear control arm’s.
as it currently sits with the 86 drag cars 1970 351w/T-5/8.8 drive train but this time i added the 1994 front lower control arms and tie rods. I still have some little things things to hook up..like the rear shock’s /clutch cable/ install clutch pedals/ heater hose’s/ battery/reinstall the gas tank and
I also still have to remove the 79 factory master cylinder/booster/ pressure differential valve/ brake lines because I’m installing the ones from 1994 but I just wanted you to see how my yellow 1979 doing in therapy.
Drivetrain: 1994 cobra T-5
1998 COBRA 8.8 and drive shaft.
1994 front control arm’s/inter and outer tie rods/ spindles assembly.
1994 master cylinder/booster/ pressure differential valve/ brake lines
Notes: I was looking for some quarter panels for MY red/blue and white 88 mustang when I came across this add on local craiglist!
