Conventionally measured as 80 cubic inches. However, because each rotor face completes a cycle of intake, compression, combustion and exhaust every revolution and there are two rotors with a total of six faces this yields a equivilance of a 2.6L engine. This is the current displacment that the SCCA rates this engine at although traditional calculations produce a displacment of 1.3L without regards to cycle knowlege.
