On Sunday Connor and I drove from the blacks creek exit up the south fork, through Prairie, and back around Anderson Ranch Dam. After we got on top, I heard a noise and saw something round rolling off the road. I stopped and my left front Superwinch hub had loosened up on the washboard roads and simply fallen off. Thankfully nothing came apart, and I was able to clean it out and put it back on in the middle of the road. I checked the other one while we were stopped, and it was also very loose and about ready to come off. Also, found the top speed coming home from Mountain Home to Boise, we were doing about 60 at 3,000 RPMs on the freeway. That's about the very max. When I opened the rear tire carrier for the first time, I found out that the lower support arm had broken, so the tire was only being held on by the upper arm. I completely removed the tire carrier assembly, as I plan to build a rear tire carrier bumper similar to the one built for the 1989 YJ. I also adjusted the driver door.
