Ford harness connector clips.jpg 256 hits | 30.23 KB | Posted: 8/4/13 View from the front side. These are the tabs that hold the wires in place. There is one tab for each wire. The tabs press up against the metal connector on the wire (see next pic). These tabs are very brittle.
Step 4 - Very carefully slide your pic...

Ford harness connector.jpg 270 hits | 32.67 KB | Posted: 8/4/13 This is a typical underhood/chassic Ford harness connector. It's made up wires, a rubber weather-tight piece, the plastic connector, and a red plastic keeper.
Tools needed - preferably a small pic, but a tiny flat-head screwdriver will work, also.

Ranchero HP fuel pump.JPG 859 hits | 65.54 KB | Posted: 6/17/12 Starter solenoid, fuel filter/reservoir, and fuel pump being mocked up. The only thing that ended up being moved was the fuel pump. It now sits about 6 inches below where it is in the pic (where the batt used to go).
The wiring above the starter so...
Keyed ignition before.jpg 703 hits | 42.13 KB | Posted: 9/20/11 This plug is hot in run. It supplies power to a supplemental fuse box, which powers the O2 sensors, e-fan, aftermarket gauges, and fuel pumps.
The tan colored wire (the left most wire in my hand) is actually the stock pink "resistor" wire...
87_Mark_VII_EEC_Module.jpg 629 hits | 53.47 KB | Posted: 1/17/13 The Lincoln Mark VII EEC wiring harness is not the same as the Mustang EEC harness. It is actually in two different harnesses, mixed in with a bunch of other stuff.
If you're gonna work with factory harnesses, do your self a favor and pick up one fr...
Ranchero Inertia Switch, FP power.JPG 571 hits | 44.34 KB | Posted: 6/20/12 No problems with the inertia switch yet! You can also see the 12v supply to the fuel pump (white and red wires).
Ranchero FP relay.JPG 555 hits | 52.41 KB | Posted: 6/18/12 Here is the supplemental fuse box and fuel pump relay (the green thing). This is just a mock up.
The fuse box is powered directly by the battery, and gets switched on by the relay when the ignition is in the "run" position. (The white wire...

Ranchero Dash.JPG 537 hits | 58.19 KB | Posted: 6/20/12 Mock up of more wiring. The EEC is pretty much in place. The dash harness was laid out. Wiring for aftermarked gauges, neutral safety switch (swapped from a C4 to a T5), and the VSS were being figured out here.
Aftermarket gauges (oil pressure and ...
Ranchero EEC mount.JPG 511 hits | 43.35 KB | Posted: 6/18/12 EEC mocked up. I made a mounting plate and welded it to the cowl. My car doesn't have A/C, and this mounting point may not have worked if it did.
I think I can still use a factory style dash speaker. However, because of where the EEC is, I cant use...
Ranchero EEC relay.JPG 510 hits | 62.25 KB | Posted: 6/18/12 Looking up toward the cowl. You can see the wiring harness coming through the cowl. The EEC is to the left, and the EEC relay and fuel pump relay are to the right. Also to the right is the supplemental fuse box.
I have a set of fresh air vents to r...
