Nickname: P71 Mustang
Mileage: 140000
Engine: 4.6L, K&N and running a CAT BACK exhaust. It is currently a little bit of a sleeper car. It's a CVPI as well.

PLANS: Accel coil packs, Performance wires, Iridium plugs, moving to a true CAI, Intake spacer, underdrive pullies, and upgraded cooling system. Also looking into a JET chip with a bullydog programmer.
Drivetrain: Factory 4R70W transmission with factory with limited slip rear end.
Notes: Only had vehicle about 2 weeks and doing the maintenance that has been neglected. Already gone through all fluids plus A/C Recharge.

Plans include upgrading the KYB shocks, painting the primer black into a gloss black, redoing the white, and moving to the performance tires as well as other handling mods. Goal to push 300 HP but still get 17- 20 MPG from the car.

I have done this with a 2004 Grand Cherokee AWD in the past. It dyno'ed out at 290 HP and still got 20 MPG on the highway, 16 MPG towing a 3500 lb trailer through town.

The shops around town quoted $450- $600 to replace my fuel sender because it comes as a package with the fuel pump. On top of the fact they have to drop the fuel tank.

However I am a country girl and I was able to do the same work for the same time including a break for $86 which was the cost of the replacement fuel pump from a junkyard. I separated the sending unit, pulled the pump out, put the new sender in without dropping the tank and thankfully it WORKS! But I also did an ohmage test before putting in the new sensor. Specs call for 170 ohms full and 11 ohms on empty.

The windshield washer spayers were not working. So without rain I my wipers were on a dry surface.

On my CVPI there was a junction for the tubing under the Master cylinder for the brakes. I took the junction apart to see which side the issue was on. It was on the sprayer side after the test. Reconnected the tubing with a tighter fitting and everything worked fine. What might have happened is that the test cleared out a blockage in the system.
