Stock 5.0, EFI, AOD, stripped of junk not needed on the trail (ie, smog, A/C, wires, etc.) |
Drivetrain: |
Stock, D44/9", 3.55's, trac-lok rear. |
Notes: |
Bought from a crackhead after he wrecked it in the front and FUBARed a front cap installation, A '90 cap on an '86 body FUGLY! Every time I take her trail riding, I find a new problem so eventually I will make it through a trail with out trouble, just hope it happens soon!
I have a hitch mounted Ramsey 9000 "wrecker" winch up front but have not finished the wiring for the rear, Have you priced copper wire lately, SHEEEZZZZ!
Modified the radiator core to accept a late factory aluminum radiator using all factory hardware and mounting. Looks like Ford made it this way save for the electric fans that are swithed from inside the cabin.
Hope to figure out how to make a spare ambulance alternator a welder at some point and install it in place of the A/C compressor.
Cut fenders to accept 35's WITHOUT lift, have 36" swampers on her now but they rub the frame in tight turns. |
