Final location with 1/0 welding wire. I used marine type terminals so I could borrow a battery for the tractor, or disconnect them and weld from them.

This would be the top. I used some 1/8" angle to brace the flat part some. I cutthe top of the angle after welding down the long part then bent it down and finished welding it. I then turned the wire feed way up and filled in the cut gap. I also...

I started this with a 8" x 48" piece of A36 plate steel. Scored, bent and welded the plate to match my bent form.
