My Great Grandmother bought her when she first came out and spent a pretty penny on getting her decked out with all the options available. Less than a year later her husband died and she stopped driving all together. So Eleanor sat in her garage for 20 years, only being started once in her span of dormancy. Then, in 2012, It was time for me to get a car. So my grandmother came to me and said, "Austin, I want you to have my car. I barely drove her and shes comfortable and needs a good home." So I ecstatically grabbed the keys, thanked her nearly 50 times, and shes been my trusty automotive companion ever since. That night I decided she needed a name. So, I named her Eleanor,after my great grandmother who I love dearly. |
