Stock 5.8l Windsor. Rusty. Replaced stock y pipe/cat/muffler/exhaust with Bassani stainless y pipe, cat and exhaust kit. Put a new oil pan on. Replaced the a/c system in its entirety. All new belts. |
| Drivetrain: |
Completely replaced the very tired stock suspension and drivetrain with new stock components except a couple things. JBG springs on back. New JBG leaf perches to eliminate angle blocks. Rear's about 2 inches taller than stock. JBG 2 inch leveling springs in front. New warn manual hubs. Yukon posi in back. Woods 1350 u joint drive shaft. Only drivetrain parts that are not completely brand new are the axle tubes and housings, the front differential carrier and gears, the front drive shaft and the transmission. The only suspension components not new are the traction beams up front, the steering knuckles, sway bars and wheels. In the process of replacing the entire braking and abs systems. |

Looked really good on the outside, so I thought it was in great shape when I bought it. It was not . Several thousand dollars later, it finally is. Regret the purchase, but the next owner won't, which will be some time from now. I'll never come close recouping the money in it, so I'll probably be buried in it. Need to get rid of some leaks before that happens. |
