Bought it in San Diego in 1986 and toted it around various places I've lived. Have had several engines/trans combos over the years.
Set it up to run BSP Solo II years ago. Took first place BSP at NW Regional SCCA back in '95.
Stored it on a friend's property. Some meth-head stole the triple carbs/intake off of it. I bought it back for $200 after I saw it on Craigslist. Then I called him and let him know that we know who he is, where he is, and what he did...we would not be notifying the cops...no problems since.
It's still a solid car but I need to go through it someday. I have good suspension parts, big brakes, etc., for it already. |
