Notes: I got this truck 2 years ago from my dad. It's the Ranger XL, meaning it simply has the biggest motor, and the biggest bed. Rather than a standard 4 cyl motor, this truck has a large 2.9L V6, with tuned port EFI, making an impressive 145HP out of the box. This engine has a 2.5in exaust system. It has the mazda transmission that basically all the rangers got, which is a weak transmission in my opinion. Sadly the paint on this truck basically sucks. Every time I wash it, more of the blue and grey comes off. I like this truck because it's very non-discript, even looking how it does. It's also quite quick, with a lot of pep out of the hole when unloaded. It also handles nicely at high speed. I can honestly say that 110 mph isn't quite as scary as I thought it was gonna be. This truck is 2 wheel drive, but it can keep up on most of the intermediate 4x4 trails because it's so light. The fog light are missing, because I was jumping it one day, and the front end bashed into the dirt, and broke them off. The tinted windows make this truck into a DARK capsule at night. Even if I have the neon on, and it's BRIGHT, you can't see it from outside unless you're standing right next to the car. It's a nice truck to drive because it's light, get's alright gas mileage, and it's quick.

I like the lines, smooth, but also blunt. The two tone is kinda neat too. It grows on ya!

As you can see, the paint isn't fairing too well.
