351 Cleveland with 4 barrel heads. I upgraded to an Edelbrock Performer intake topped by a Holley Street Avenger 670 carb and K&N air filter. While I was having some work done to the car I found out the heads have been ported and polished to maximum tolerances. The previous owner installed a Comp Cams High Energy cam. I am going to upgrade the ignition next with MSD's Pro Billit alluminum distributor, Baster Coil, and a 6a or 6al box. |
Drivetrain: |
The tranny is a floor shifted FMX, I don't know much about it and have been told its better than a C4 and not as good as a C6. That is fed into a 9 inch rearend. No posi and I don't know the gearing. |
Notes: |
It has been through a number of changes through it's life, but I think it started life out as a red car with red interior, bucket seats, factory air, Am stereo with speakers in the lower kickpanels. From there it was plastered with decals, a black stripe was painted down the center and the number 70 was put all over with the name Dego Cantarini painted over the drivers door. White interior was swapped in and the 351 was messaged to run the ovals of NASCAR. The gentalmen I bought it from was in the middle of restomoding her, stripping the decals off, painting over the numbers while making the motor a little more street/strip ready and swapping in black interior. I am going to finish the black interior repaint her red keeping the black stripes and the number 70 on the roof, trunk and doors per the publics request (I like it too). |
