I bought my Bronco used in '96 from a Norweigen man living in Paso Robles, Ca with 45,000 on the ticker. My wife used it a daily driver until we moved to Sweden in Aug.'99 when we both started commuting daily in it about 30 mi a day. Winter driveing in southern Sweden sucks because they salt the roads and it didn't take long until a saw surface rust starting on the frame, suspension components and body mout areas. In Dec. '02 we bought a Volvo V70 for daily driving and the Bronco is currently spending most of it's weekdays in the garage and weekends in the forest for time with the wife, dogs and fishing. I'm planning to begin with some light mods this summer which include: manual hubs, mild lift to accomidate 33's, warn winch and some general maintenance. |
