Notes: |
I bought the Bronco this past summer 2002 for $500.00 w/ the engine & drivetrain as descrbide above. I first saw a 1965 F250 sitting in his yard no for sale sign; however I was able to get it for $300.00 & picked up the Bronco as well.
The heads blew out this Summer & I just got done rebuilding the motor. I'm putting a hood scoop on from a 63 TBird, Front grill from a 75 F250 & the front bumper from a 60 Mercury. In the Engine compartment I ripped out that oversized heater/AC unit & installed a heater from a 72 F250 under the dash model, gives the engine compartment much more room. On the dash I removed the heater & window controls & replaced it with rocker switches these also control the power to the electric gas pump. The dash mounted heater vents have been removed to house, Left- Clock from a 60 Mercury, Middle- Oil Pressure & Water Temp, Right-Vent. On the dash I mounted the Tach which is good for adjusting the Carb.
On the top of the Roof I have dual sun roofs & dual horns from a Peterbuilt Truck those a run off a Electric pump & 10 Gallon tank. |

Finally got the Hood back on the Bronco. Using a 1959 Merc front bumper, in the slots for the turn signals I'll be installing fog lights.
