Notes: |
bought it for 4800 in the Washington Post Classified Ads with 96,284mi on it back in April of this year 2004. Drives really great, and is ready for those damn ricers anytime. .(8/4/04) When I get back to Virginia Beach, I'm gonna go to Performance Unlimited, INC and get me a 1725 Max Micro Tuner SuperChip for my car. Should bump up the horsepower and torque greatly. Got any questions for parts for your panther, just ask me. |

Maintenance & Modification Logs
Date | Type | Mileage | Title / Description | $ Amount | 08/13/04 | Modification | 102853 | Ram Air Had a great idea and it worked! Snaped off the snorkel off of the original airbox connected it to a 3'' furnace flex pipe connected it to the bottom of the crown victoria where the little air strips are and ran it up the engine to the air filter, saw a 10mph increase on my straightaway for only $25.00! So now when my filter sucks in air it will suck in cold air not the hot engine air! | 25.00 | 06/24/04 | Modification | 101972 | 70mm BBK Just finished puting on my new 70mm BBK Throttle-Body which was a pain. Disconecting everything was no problem but when it came to that damn factory tight TBS(throttle body sensor) it was a pain. Thought I could cut it off manually with saw because the screwdrivers were useless then broke it(scared the living hell outa me). then luckily got a ride the Advance Auto Parts and Bought the LAST ONE they had for 32.00 damn that was close. after that went home connected the TBS to the throttle-body, connected all of the sensors, clamped on intake pipe and put the conical air filter back on and went for a test drive. Tell you the truth when I floored the hell outa it I was truly amazed, I took off like a bat outa hell. Gtech unit recorded a 16hp increase and about 30 more foot pounds of torque(which was about from my guess) | 201.00 | 06/24/04 | Repair | 101972 | TBS sensor had to go out and get me a new TBS(throttle body sensor) because while I was trying to switch the TBS from the old throtle-body to the new one I kinda broke it off, which really scared the hell outa me because I had no idea how much it would cost or if I could even install myself, amazingly it all worked out | 32.00 | Total | 258.00 |
