Replaced ignition switch Replaced the ignition switch thinking it was the cause of the non-functioning blower motor ... it wasn't, so now I have a spare. Blower motor was fixed by several raps with a hammer.

Tried to switch seat belt latch TLC Automotive tried to break the bolt holding the driver's seat belt latch, but it wouldn't break. Still need to buckle it to the center passenger latch. Will have to drill the bolt out and replace it.

Replaced brake shoes Replaced rear brake shoes on both sides. Old ones were SERIOUSLY worn. Star adjuster went from almost fully out to almost fully in!

Safety Inspection Went to TLC Automotive [(807) 223-4040] for Ontario safety inspection. Items needing repair to pass:
-Driver's seat belt latch broken. (Solution - remove front center passenger belt and move latch over.)
- Rear brake shoes in need of replacement. (Solution - change them myself in the driveway.)

Filled tank Filled the tank with gas ... first full fill since acquiring car. Let it run to just a hair below the "E" line to see how big the tank is. It took 14.6 gallons ... or just over 55 litres. Cost $45 to fill at 81.4 cents/litre
