After a long academic stint of zero work on the '78, I have come to a dramatic conclusion; I won't worry about the body of this truck other than a $300-400 paint job to make it look O.K. for a couple of years. What then, you may ask, will I do to it? Engine. I will put all of my money into the engine, drivetrain, and suspension. Given I have $0 right now, but this summer will be the time for these modifications. | 0.00 | | 12/20/04 | Miscellaneous | | And the gremlins surface...
- Of course, as soon as we get the truck running, the gremlins rear their ugly heads. The battery somehow drained itself, more than likely from a bad contact or an open circuit somewhere....hopefully we can find it.

Finally got the truck running for the first time since I've owned it. We put five gallons of gas in the tank, and she started right up. Monday we'll put good tires, a new air filter, and heater core in it, then I can worry about cosmetics a bit more. | 9.40 | | Total | 9.40 |
