Engine needed some freshening up for sure. It had been "rode hard and put away wet" so to speak.

Engine was pulled, cleaned and the timing chain, oil pump & water pump were replaced, carb rebuilt and electronic ignition installed. Painted it Ford Red which is supposed to be the factory color that year. Got it running again and just fine tuning...

Engine sat for over 15 years, the fluids were changed, shot some oil in the cylinders and it fired up. We have added Red's headers and a holley 4-barrel, other than that it is a stock 239 Y-Block
