Engine: 460 out of a 71 Lincoln Mark VIII. D0VE heads that have lots of port work done to them. Cam is a "RV" grind, 204/214@0.050 with 0.494"/0.512" lift. Installed BBC rocker studs and used the stock 1.75:1 rail rockers. By using the BBC studs, we were able to have adjustable valvetrain. Pistons are the stock, small dish ones with 10.5:1 compression. D6 spreadbore intake that has been extremely ported and the phlenum opened up like a normal dual plane. 2" open spacer adapts the spreadbore pattern to the square bore pattern and a 1" tapered 4 into 1 spacer on top of that. Carb is a 750 Holley Double Pumper with annular boosters. The engine has pulled 7,300 rpms on two different occasions and that is with a basically stock short block. Exhuast is Heddman Headers with dual 3" exhaust. There are mini stacks hidden in the box, it helps push the smoke up.
Drivetrain: C6 with stock Lincoln torque converter. 3.00:1 mini spooled 9" with 31 spline axles.
Notes: The truck is a Camper Special, so it is an original 460 truck. The original engine lasted about 2 years worth of competitions. We get a 30 second run and are tied down to a steel pad. The new 460 pulls a lot harder than the old one, but that could be cuz it was 365 hp, 500 ft lbs-stock. Truck usually pulls about 5600 rpms in 3rd gear and with the 31" tires and 3.00:1 gears, that equates to about 172 mph.

These are the little stacks that are in the box. Nothing big or fancy, but they sure blow the smoke up.
