Purchased in 1996 in Indianapolis. Started IndyProbes club in 2000. Moved back to Iowa in 2005. This car is dirty, bent up a bit, has faded paint, and is generally ugly...but I wouldn't trade it for anything. More fun is extracted from this car on a monthly basis than many others I could imagine owning. The challenge to find or make aftermarket parts makes the mod list a drawn out process, which is good IMO. I think always having a next goal is what helps keep ownership fun!
Other mods include a TRUE coilover setup from K-Sport. The car is completely dropped, fenders rolled, and suspension feel is very tight, yet controlled. Tires are Michelin Pilot. Combined with the K-Sports, the car produces a combo that literally scares me to push it any further--it just doesn't feel natural to stick to the road as much as I do. Turn in is precise, and on the full-hard setting, the feel is very firm, but not out of control. |

PA300157.JPG 535 hits | 41.2 KB | Posted: 12/4/05 How far the (current) BBS rims stick out from the side of the car. With the K-Sports dropped about as low as I want to go, I had to roll the fenders to get these to tuck and still maintain suspension travel. These BBS BARELY tuck.

TSW Q5 polished spoke.
18x9, 5x114.3, 20mm offset?
Discontinued. Hard to find. Took me years to find a set.
