just bought it as a present to myself for getting out of the navy. Looked long and hard to find an all stock, never been lifted project that ran. Plan on doing a frame off and going with 351w, zf 5 speed, d44 full floaters with arb front and rear. |

bought from Chris Rodgers (316 Sandy ln., Windsor CO 80550). Chris had used the vehicle for taking his kayak up the mountains in the summer. Tried to give it to his kid but kid wanted an old hot rod. Purchased with no top on, doors on, fiberglass front fenders, no spare tire carrier, with a buch of junk in it. Had 32x12.50x15 generic MT's. 302, C4, d44, 9". Ran strong, shifted smooth. Also came with; hard top, soft top, door inserts, and a plethora of other crap. Looks like wiper bracket has been lowered for soft top. Mild rust, esp tailgate. Felt like I got a really good deal. Parked at moms house at Clarendon Hills on a slope on snow with wheels straight. Tranny in park but parking brake not set. Went inside, saw the vehicle 3 hrs later in same spot. 1 hr after that, went to leave to get insurance, vehicle was gone. Thought it was stolen. Remembered Andrews voice saying, "the eb is the most commonly stolen calssic car". Wanted to kill Andrew. Looked down the hill and saw a cop. Thought good. Saw bronco in neighbors fence. Thought bad. Fat fuck neighbor called the cops rather than come tell me. Got a ticket for no insurance.($275) Had to replace fence.($920) Believe the melting snow under the vehicle jarred it out of park.
