361 CID Ford FE Big Block. Bored to 368 CID during complete rebuild. Originally 303 hp, now ?? Ford called this one the "Interceptor Thunderbird Special". Running dual exhaust with Cherry Bombs. |

This car was built in Dallas, sold new in Odessa, and lived most of its life in Texas. Last inspected in 1981. I bought it in 2002 and started the rebuild/restoration. Replaced the tired Y-Block with the FE Big Block. Replaced the Fordomatic with the Cruiseomatic. Changed the colors from Azure Blue & Colonial White to Sun Gold and Colonial White, reversing the color scheme in the process. Interior is gray & black. Original pattern to the seats, with a tuck and roll added to the cloth. Hope to finish it this year, but we'll see.... |
