i used the piecut sections as a backing for the overplate. i could have skipped the pie cut sections i suppose, it was an afterthought. but since this was my first attempt at any body work, i chocked it up to experimentation.

i had all kinds of rot in this area, as you may very well be able to tell. i replaced alot of sheet. which wasnt all that difficult, other than, i had already run out of shielding gas, and the mig was acting up. so i ended up running some crappy stit...

driver and passenger side had identical rot. after having gone to ocala, it became immediately apparent that i had to do something about it. water, silt and mud were getting sprayed all over the interior.

this two wire bundle descends from the main harness next to the cruise control servo. with key off it has 12v. i dont have any idea what this is, or what it was connected to.

found this wire dangling in the engine bay. its wrapped with conduit, im sure that this is a sensor of somepoint, i just cant locate it on any diagrams or schematics.

Here is the basic mock up, test fitting a few things, like the cell cradle, a hole for my aircraft clock, my cb and the fire extinguisher, before i fiberglass the sides. i have to figure out where to put my ipod and a few more switches.
