I found the car in August 2003, my friend called me up and told me that he found something I've been looking for for a long time (I've wanted one since I was a little kid). The car just happened to be sitting down the street from my girlfriends house with a for sale sign on it, so I decided to check it out. The guy was asking $450, but I talked him down to $400. Apparently the car had been sitting in a garage for about 15 years, and it only had about 53000 miles on it. The car needed a lot of work (and still does), but it's coming together pretty good, very fun project car. |
