390, .bored .040, C4AE-G ported/polished heads, Crane cam, tripower, all oil mods, windage tray, 23/8 fuel lines/holly elec pump, dual remote filter, Mallory dual point, Hooker Super Comp headers/complete mandrel exhaust and more stuff that I cannot remember at the moment.
Engine is painted the same color as the body. |

Original California "Black Plate" car. Bought it as a non-running Galaxie 500 XL and had it brought back East via car carrier. I Restored it 3 years ago. Totally disassembled and rebuilt over a 5 year period.
Car is nosed & decked. Complete XL interior was custom made for me, not one of the ready-made interiors. Seats are as original but with straight seams and all pleats are sewn in.
Running Stewart Warner 2 5/8" gauges.
I spent one winter polishing all the interior and exterior stainless. The complete grille and other aluminum parts were reanodized. Tri-power air cleaner was polished.
No power steering, no power brakes, disconnected heater and water lines under hood, etc. |
