my engine has a special serpentine setup that makes some things really simple but others really complicated. my power steering pump died so I decided to swap to a Saginaw pump. problem is that the bracket prevents my alternator from mounting. my reverse flow waterpump prevents me from mounting it anywhere else
I cut off the A/C mount and notched the other area to mount my alternator there. it seems to work fine other than needing a new belt that's quite abit longer some reason.
II used my arc welder and cranked up the power to cut it. I was out of sawzall bladed and cutoff wheels. the welder did it no problem
